Theres been two tracks so far:
Prodigy - Charly
Urban Hype - Trip to Trumpton
that have been labelled cheese. Considering they were released in the very early 90's I don't think you could label them as such. They don't seem to me to be that removed from the typical early "rave" sound. I suppose you could call them cheese by todays standards, but then a lot of that early music would have to follow.
Feel free to disagree, my knowledge of that time is somewhat limited but it does sound quite similar to a lot of tracks I've heard from that time.

A lot of The Prodigy's music is cheesy. That doesn't mean to say it's though. I don't understand why so many people think 'cheese' means the same as - It doesn't.
Trance Nutter
fair enough, although I never did say the two were the same and I do see the difference between the two.
I dunno, I just don't consider it to be that cheesy, especially compared to stuff like what else is mentioned here.
Like I said, it might be cheesy by todays standards (using Charly as an example), but put it against other music from that time, is it cheesy in comparison? I guess I'm kind of thinking for something to be cheesy, it needed to be cheesy when it was released.

Pulp Victim - The World '99 (Moonman Club Mix), boring, overrated & cheese as helL!

true, cheesy doesnt always mean ........but the prodigy arent really cheesy, the lyrics they use are simple, most of the time have no real meaning but just sound kind of cool and compliment alot of their great tracks, for example smack my bitch up, girls or one man army. the prodigy are legends either way, lets not put them in the category of cheesy alongside s such as dj sammy or darude :D .
and guys kkk this is "cheesiest ever", songs like motorcycle's as the rush comes and avb's shivers do not make it! the cheesiest tracks ever made are so ing cheesy that the lyrics make u cringe and make u embarrassed soooo bad u cannot be seen listening to it around other people or in your car, only cheesy songs with a truly remarkable gift make this possible :stongue:. for example ian van dahl's "just a girl" or 4 strings "crying dolphins" or watever it is called.
kk end rant

Filo & Peri - The Anthem Song
The sample ive heard may make it the most cheesy trance record as championed by PVD. IT will of course be huge next year despite in its inherrant cheddar

Why yes, that's exactly the properties of Shivers and As The Rush Comes...now that you mention it, it all seems so clear. Thank you!

It's like a car crash in slow motion, the awesome mixing at the end almost saves it though.
Edit : WTF is this...
