Complain all you want, call people names and add all the bravado you want, doesnt matter if youre a conservative, christian, black, white, purple, muslim or a hippy who worships a dog called Fred because its nothing but crap when you can just walk away from it at the end of the day and not have to wake up tommorrow with the physical ramifications of your ideals in work on your doorstep the next morning. Both you and Shaolin will walk away from this without anyone losing some skin but maybe a few social graces.
It's a real tragedy to see people talking about torture, imprisonment and religions as some kind of joke.
It's even easier when you've never seen or set a dog on someone to kill or heard the noises they make when it latches on.
It's a world of difference when you are forced to use firearms and violence to actually stop yourself getting killed or force someone to stop doing something.
This isnt your world to comment on, it's just an 'ideal' because you lucky people live in a nice house, probably work in a nice job or go to school in a nice town. Heck maybe you've even been a 'tourist' in some of these foreign countries and afforded the luxury of going back home where its safe after your visa runs out or the tour of duty ends.
In short, you dont get to do anything but post vitriol and ideals here because you've not had to live through anything like you so loudly expose with such proud hatreds for each other worn casually on your sleeve and have never had to genuinely fight for your property and current lifestyles depended on it.
Youre really lucky in that regard so kiss and makeup. ;) |

| Is it just me. Or could this be an incentive for the Bush Adm to justify an attack on Iran? Well this will turn out great. Think about it a new war. One with a nation that can actually defend itself and that has strong friends. |

Hmmm, an Iranian Division against an American, we know
who would win. Besides we'd use naval and air assests
to cripple their nuclear weapons research and send them
back ten years in it.
And whatever 'friends' you think they have would not
send troops to help them lol |

The US cannot win wars with small nations like Iraq. You think they can "win" a war with Iran?
Your military has become a myth and you should be emabarrased with the outcome in iraq. |

I hate to tell you guys that while Bush's "Mission Accomplished" was premature (since the mission was winning the war and the reconstruction of the country), we DID win in Iraq. We toppled a government, just like we would in Iran.
The US has the firepower to win wars, we just don't have the numbers to maintain peace. Our country's population (and subsequent military forces) lack the size. |

The US has never attacked a nation as big as Iran in the last 30 years.. warefare has changed quite a bit. They leveled iraq becuase their airforce was almost non-existant.
You are not looking at things logistically. They cannot attack Iran as well as you think they can. Otherwise.. it would have been done sir. |

I think one true test of military superiority would be fighting a war on home turf. Iran would have no chance in such a situation attacking the US. I really don't understand how you could be so dense on such a subject. |
