Ultra Music Festival Turns 9

Not everyday a video gaming website talks about big music events, let alone EDM ones. Seems IGN Music talks about Ultra that's coming to Miami this March.

December 26, 2006 - The annual Ultra Music Festival will enter its ninth season when it kicks off again on March 23rd and 24th, 2007 in Miami's Bicentennial Park.
Legendary British band The Cure have been confirmed as the headlining act for the two-day festival. Furthermore, German techno demi-god Paul Van Dyk will continue his annual closing set, making this the ninth year that he has participated in the event.
Other acts on the bill for Friday's leg of the festival include Tiesto, Deep Dish, Shiny Toy Guns, and Miss Kitten. As for Saturday, in addition to Van Dyk, attendees can expect to see and hear the likes of Carl Cox, Erick Morillo, Danny Tenaglia, Ferry Corsten and Richie Hawtin. The complete line-up for both days will be revealed as the event draws closer.
Tickets for UMF are currently only available as two-day passes at $99.90 for general admission and $350 for VIP, which includes access to VIP platforms with preferred viewing of UMF stages, designated VIP tents and areas, express entry into UMF with separate VIP entrance, VIP bars, air-conditioned restroom facilities and more. Tickets may be purchased through www.ultramusicfestival.com. |

Nothing is a strong word, and its your choice, but I went last year and had a great time at the wet grooves party at nikki beach, although in no way is that equal to all the brazy Brits partying, free entrance, Radio 1 party I do agree |
