| I hear you Melly. This is a good booking, although the venue leaves so much to be desired. I only wish the only 2 trance events we have could be on different nights. Oh well. If I am alive after Tiesto tonight I may go, as I like TB's sets. |

Not for nothing..... I really wish the best of luck to this party & I hope the promotions are being handled differently. I've been to quite a few EDM parties @ AREA 51. The location if I'm not mistaken is AREA 51 but the room is called the Adrenaline Room. I could be wrong but thats the impression I was under for the name.
Anyways like I said I've been to quite a few EDM parties & I personally Area 51 has a long way to go b4 it can call its self a club again. If ur having an edm event with a HIP-HOP event also happening in the other rooms you are not gonna get a good turn out plain & simple. If you throw an edm event with other edm parties it will have an awesome turnout.
ALso not to sound negattive but if there are more employess than clubbers you won't last passed 5am.
So hopefully (*crosses fingers*) ur parties will do GREAT & keep our EDM scene growing here in 2007. Lord knows we need it. The way I see it if TRANCE & PROGRESSIVE SOUNDS keep growing in MIAMI it will be a favored sound once again. BEST OF LUCK with this new party...

Actually manny it has way more to do with promotions than with other parties being held there. Talla played great when i went to see him for NYE but there were like 20 heads in there. the place was not promoted correctly and quite frankly the night bombed.
i think edm woudl work work better if all the rooms were edm..yea, could be..but that will never happen in Area 51. everyone and their grandmother's dentist on south beach and downtown is a dj... they just don't play becuse they cant generate revenue like hiphop can. case in point, they need to just clean up the crowds. a clean place attracts clean people and good money. |

Hey nice to meet you my name is Antonio Centurion and I am the President & CEO of The Addictive Global Family. We are not promoters, but a licensed and insured booking and pr firm that also involves itself in event management. For everybody's information this event is in Adrenaline not (Area 51). Since I have no choice but to explain... here it goes. The old Metropolis has been split up into different venues which are Arena, Area 51, Allure, and Adrenaline. They have been sold to different owners, who have then not only renovated but also have upgraded the sound system and ambiance. I can only say that I have no association with previous management or promoters of these venues. Adrenaline (not AREA 51) has been chosen by me to host my events which are Addictive Fridays & Addictive Afterhours. With that being said I will only bring you the best Trance & Progressive acts as well as special afterhour guest dj's . I'll be there Friday. Supporting an event that actually has balls to bring down just talent NEVER EVER EVER brought down to miami.
Parties like this won't ever succeed because of the ppl supporting only local talent.
Our locals are great, don't get me wrong.
But I shouldn't have to fly all over N America to see a freaking dj blow my mind away in another city.
I hope friday has a good turnout Anthony. If anything you are the one in miami taking risks and I appreciate that.

Thank you Mel, it is great having some support. I don't know about you but for me its not about the venue, people, money, cars. Its all about the music thats why I created this company and have pushed foward with this event amist all the negative posts and the missing threads that I have create to see if there is any buzz in this so called dance capital of the world

Thank you for your interest in our event. We have and are doing everything possible to have a great turnout... ie Myspace, Flyers, New Times and other promotional tools. We sure can use a little word of mouth believe it or not when I was just out of highschool there was'nt flyers everywhere and myspace. The actual clubgoers would tell there friends and they would invite others and so forth. |

Thank you for the vote of confidence, I would great appreciate your support as I cannot do this by myself. With the help of a very passionate team that loves Trance and is commited to having a quality event.
On another note, I believe that luck is nothing but a four letter word used to describe hard work and dedication. But I am confident that all the Trance lovers and especially the TA's will make this event sucessful. |

Hey don't worry we will be going strong after 5am with Addictive Afterhours. When all the venues close we stay open with the freshest sounds in Downtown Miami. |
