I think it might be because the last half of the sample is basically just the original "Halcyon+on+on," but who knows. |

already in my crate... which is why i created this thread. i always feel sketchy buying tracks that are "rip-offs".. which i guess it technically isn't since it's the same title and everything, lol. |

You seriously need to link that other tune. I forgot what it was called, but it's bad.
Edit: And yeah, even though it does have the same title (and I'm assuming it's considered a "cover"), I don't know how I feel about the ethics of labeling your tune without acknowledging the original artist in the EDM community. |

| Just listened to the samples, They both sounds good, But Version 1 is the best, Sounded more in the spirit of the original track. |

Version 1 is indeed quite good, though (or maybe because :D) it's quite close to the original
Version 2 was not so good imo, the electroish bassline just doesn't fit |
