From traveling this holiday, I noticed that people seem to have on their best gear to travel. Almost like they went shopping just to travel. Kinda lame IMO. You can tell who spent the night before making sure they had their outfit all ready to wait for a flight, probably tried it on too. Or the cheesier folks that put on the "cosby" sweater and santa hat.
Where I live there are a ton of pretty girls, 90% had on those Ugg boots...YUCK! They're not hot, they're not cute....they make your feet stink...burn'em.
The trip home was even funnier, you can tell whos wearing their xmas presents...shirts that still have creases....it was good for a laugh seeing as I had 3 hours to burn until my flight. My friend and I went to pick up a couple shirts before xmas, and the day after xmas he wore one. I asked him if his mom got that for him. It wasnt even a present, but I was breakin his balls. Both of us were crackin up about it.
Happy Holidays.:tongue3 |

that's a rule for my snowboarding trips out west...travel as comfortable as possible so you often see me in sweats with a hoodie and a hat.
i'll admit to the matching luggage though, my board bag, roller, duffle, and book bag all match - digi camo dakine gear.
i use to think luggage is luggage right, not until i bought a dakine roller, then again i haven't been on 7+ day trips so i guess i'll really see how efficient the bag will be. |

Uggs are ugly and years behind now as being "fashionable"
Pajamas are meant to be worn in your house, period.
All luggage are not the same... spend any reasonably long amount of time on the road and you'll learn that... Tumi for life! Buy once and you're done. |

People in airports treat you better if you're dressed up. Security, gate agents, ticket people, etc.
My only proof of this is the thousands of miles I've aquired over the last 18. |

if i'm travelling within oz for work I'll dress decently, since I'll go straight to work after the flight, but if I'm on holidays or travelling internationally, I wear whatever I feel comfortable in. flying is annoying enough without dressing up for it.if pj's are what you feel most comfortable in, then wear then to fly by all means.
of couse that may be why I've never been upgraded in hundreds of flights :( |
