+1 on those Tamagotchis! I remember getting kicked out of class because my dog would beep for hunger, and I would forget to pause him.
Not necessarily my favs , but I remember them well.

I was so incredibly happy when "Wide Leg" jeans came out. i always hated jeans when i was younger because they were too tight....no matter how many sizes larger you got [stupid 80s]. but when these things came out, oh man, that was comfort....finally!

i remember seeing soccer moms going absolutely NUTS around xmas time w/ those things. you'd have these full grown adult women who were beating in each other heads, pulling hear, and, to some extent, getting childishly violent, over those stupid ing beanie babies.
quite possibly one of the best marketing schemes in the world

along w/ the baggy jeans....came the rise of the flannel material again. i had like 9 different flannel long sleeve shirts. i didn't even like grunge music that much, but the clothing was comfortable. heh |
