I think that was the whole point of 90s grunge. Complete apathy towards retarded 80s....everything.

We had these little plastic figures that you threw at other peoples little plastic figures and try to knock them over, but I can't remember what they were called...:stongue:

Baggy jeans/pants.

I was so incredibly happy when "Wide Leg" jeans came out. i always hated jeans when i was younger because they were too tight....no matter how many sizes larger you got [stupid 80s]. but when these things came out, oh man, that was comfort....finally!

o...and beanie babies

i remember seeing soccer moms going absolutely NUTS around xmas time w/ those things. you'd have these full grown adult women who were beating in each other heads, pulling hear, and, to some extent, getting childishly violent, over those stupid ing beanie babies.

quite possibly one of the best marketing schemes in the world

oh, and those giga pets were ing stupid too.

along w/ the baggy jeans....came the rise of the flannel material again. i had like 9 different flannel long sleeve shirts. i didn't even like grunge music that much, but the clothing was comfortable. heh

That never happened. If you're talking about Kuwait, we were protecting our assets. If you remember when desert shield turned into desert storm, we chose not to topple the regime, we left quickly and saddam was still in power.

You were just trying to be the annoying, overly-liberal college student, weren't you? Those weren't that prominent during the 90's.

nickelodeon.

Nick Arcade, You Can't Do that On Television, DoubleDare, What Would You Do?, etc.
Good times.

Nick Jr. was cool too.
I used to love watching David the Gnome on the couch when I was home sick. Very relaxing.
