Me! Especially with how awesome the books were, pardoning those stupid special edition ones where you got to "choose your own scare" and flip through the book making choices. Everyone would ultimately flip to both pages and see what the outcome was and then pick the one where they didn't die. innovation. |
omg i used to love choose your own adventure books, some mad ass series there were. not the goosebumps ones though.....but seriously they were really enjoyable, i read countless amounts of them and they got u really involved and were alot of fun.

| I rocked the bowl hair cut in the 90s where you would shave underneath the bowl so that it moved around a ton when you moved your head back and forth. I never had one but all my friends had chain wallets with their DC shoes too. |

others things:
-button shirt unbuttoned with a t shirt underneath. i remember everyone doing that.
-taking your long sleeve shirt/sweater and wrapping it around your waist. i remember trying to do it with this oversize parka i once had. didn't work out for me. lol
-dallas cowboys / san francisco 49ers apparel. i remember everyone wearing it. then again, i always sported by miami hurricanes cap.
-blossom (i have to admit. i loved to watch this show, because i thought it was funny. and i thought joey lawrence was the coolest guy in the world. i still have no idea why i thought that. :( )
-wearing clothes like will smith in fresh prince (colorful clothes)
-i don't know if this trend grew very popular, but wearing your sweatshirt inside out. that was considered cool.
-wearing your sweater halfway, covering just the arms. i remember getting busted by the disciplinarian at my high school for "improper use of school clothing" . yeah i went to a strict school. haha
-safety pins and graffiti art on school bags. i usually rocked the NOFX symbol, random trippy art, and the happy smiley face on my school bag.
-hanging out at the arcade, wasting mindless hours and quarters dueling people on 'Street Fighter 2', 'Street Fighter 2 : Tournament Edition', 'Mortal Kombat' , 'Mortal Kombat 2', 'NFL Blitz', 'Capcom vs Marvel', and 'NBA Jam' . hanging out at the arcade was considered the cool thing back then.
btw, does anyone remember that virtual reality game way back during the early 90s where you had a gun, and you had to shoot at this big screen tv ? it was a very limited game, where there were only 3 games ever made on the type of system. the games were like role playing games, where you were either a mystery detective trying to solve a case or a gunslinger in the wild wild west ? i remember the game costing about $3 to play. |
