What a night! Got there pretty early, like 10:30pm, only to be faced with a line that was all the way till the end of the block. Finally got in and Serge Devant was absolutely killing it. By midnight the place was packed, and things only got worse. Between 2:30 an 4pm there was no point moving because we were all packed like sardines in there. Tiesto's set was really good -- he kept me going the entire time, until I left around 5:15am. I was thrilled that he dropped Moonlight Party, Lethal Industry and Silence. All in all, great crowd, great sets from both Serge and Tiesto, great night! Hadn't seen Tiesto in a while so I feel fulfilled now!

If anyone can ID tracks from Serge's set, especially the first 1.5 hours, that would be great!

Happy New Year!

I'll ask Serge about the tracks he played. The ones I know were:

Serge Devant Feat. Kyven - Surround U (Some New Remix)
Emjae - Hold Me Down (Jim Conner & Raw Shape Mix)
Serge Devant Feat. Kyven - Surround U (Starkillers Mix)

I have to say Tiesto's mixing has improved. Most of the songs were on point. He also changed his style a bit too. Playing a few electro-ish tunes. Love the skills with the EQ and volume slider. :eyes: Amazing. Certainly enjoyed when he dropped Skin - Faithfulness (Tiesto Remix).

Left around 4:30. Place was packed. We got there at 10:15pm and the line was long to the end of the block! Not even PvD or Armin make lines like that early in the night. Sheesh. Good thing I cut in ;)

I agree, had a good time except for a few things. First, that place was waayyy over capacity. Couldn't move anywhere, and the shoving was stupid. Second, the damn line was unreal, haven't seen that kind of line since around 2002. Had to pay the bouncer to skip the line, but it was well worth it. Lastly, his set was a little house[y] / tech[y] for my taste. I was hoping he would drop some more trance bombs. All in all, not bad for a first time seeing Tiesto.

I agree, Tiesto's mixing and song choices were better than I've heard lately. Lethal Industry and for sure Moonlight Party made me really, really happy. However, I think this set PALES in comparison to the other great shows we've seen this year. AVB, A&B, PVD, G&D, all of them can wipe the floor with Tiesto. I still love him, but enough with the hype.

Serge was the highlight for me. I've seen him before and liked him but he tore it the up tonight. Yummy sounds that made my soul feel so good. MY. NEW. HERO.

The walking glowy marionette was a really fun addition too.

Line was crazy, coat check getting out was insane. I left the dancefloor at about 6:20am and didn't leave the building until 7:10!!!

Not nearly enough TA's there tonight!!

The crowd was happy and not too obnoxious, but I haven't seen it that packed in a long time. I think it was a Digweed show a couple years ago, same as tonight, getting through the people was often a scary task.

Overall had a great great time. Danced my butt off, my whole body's aching, but I'm still dancing in my chair right now...

Just got back and I am wide awake. It took me and Wai like an hour and a half to get in and I think we would have left if we hadn't already paid by credit card lol.

The crowd was fakin horrible. Pusshy sweaty guidos the whole night. Half the crowd didn't even know the words to SILENCE which is a clue to what this crowd was like. I mean c'mon, my MOM knows those words!!! Also, the molesters came back to crobar for a night. :whip: :whip:

besides all of the inconveniences, Tiesto played an AMAZING set!! Even his mixing was on point which I am not used to! THe choonage was CONSTANT, upbeat and had me dancing to whole night! He seemed to be enjoying himself and had great interaction as well.

Holy jesus I haven't had fun at tiesto in about 2 years and this brought me right back (minus the crowd). When Tiesto played Skin-Faithfulness, I went fakin NUTSOLA!!!  Jeeez I haven't heard that song in FOREVER and its the one song I wanted to hear tonight!! :D :D :D my wish came true.

Serge was good (closing) for the first like 20 minutes, then he lost me. I had all this energy wasted. Heard his opener was good tho, so I guess he went 1/2. Since the crowd thought serge was tiesto, I am hoping that the guidos think that tiesto was the one playing bad and never come back. Give me room to dance f*ckers!!

Overall an annoying, yet musically satifying night. :toocool:

I'm wide awake too!!! Crap.

Oh, and am I crazy or did Serge play the Ghostbusters song during his closing set?
chi6me8ra
Also awake  anyhow, pretty much ditto to what Kelly said. When Tiesto dropped Silence I shed a tear but the number of people who had never heard that song before blew me away. F*cking crowd, the number of people who have yet to be house trained was amazing. Minus waiting in line, tthe crappy crowd, and over selling the event this was a fitting party day 2 of 3.

Tiesto played a good, entertaining set as expected. Why he continues to spin Dance 4 Life and He's A Pirate is beyond me. IMO there are better Tiesto productions...

I got online at 10:30, when i reached the front at 11:00 I was told tickets only, I was like what the did I wait online for, did anyone else have this problem, they didnt inform the crowd of anything, finally i heard a bouncer say we are only taking people with tickets, that order comes from up top, except of course all those who were greasing the bouncers, what a ed move, I understand its my fault for not getting tix, but why make me wait on line, and not notify any one. If bradley woould have said you had to buy tix, i would have, but he took a list

Im hugely disappointed with the treatment by crobar, Im nmot going to make any bold statements which have been made before, such as "Im never going to Crobar again", although on principle I feel like that, I do understand its the "only show in town" eexcept for Pacha on occasion
