I kinda agree too, though keep in mind the Palais des Congress is pricely to rent, so much of BeB's budget is used for that too, as compared to Guv where that's not an issue. Then they have to hire tons of security and set up Kiosks from scratch. Not to defend these guys, whom, in my opinion, dropped the ball with how they handled Resolution.

As for the Guv, well, they overcrowd their club constantly.. just read many of the negative comments about that in the Above & Beyond thread. So it's a double edge sword.. either pay less for a ty club experience, or more for a bunch of locals and inferior lineup. A better comparison is Decadence, where tickets are about $35-55 compared to $65-100 for BeB. Decadence may have a superior lineup but BeB is a better party because it isn't packed to the .

Oh, and if you're curious as to whether BeB or Decadence is better, here's a thread I did about that last year:

http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...ht=bal+en+blanc

I'm gonna try to go to both, though Decadence will probably drive me nuts with the sardine can like conditions.

Yes I agree with what you say, but then again how many people attend BEB at the congress centre ? Its definetly way more then the GUverment can hold.

Also I've been to many Guverment parties including Labour of Love which is probably their biggest or second biggest party and its not that bad as far as over crowdness goes. Sure yeah if you want to be in front of the dj booth it won't be comfy, but if you stick around the out skirts of the crowd there is a lot of room.

You get about 13-15k at BeB, still tons of room to dance. I find you can't dance comfortably at the Guv (from my experiences there) unless its late or in the outskirts, like you said.

You'll see what I mean when you go to BeB, more room makes for a much better vibe too (unless they book the overhyped Tiesto - that's another story).

Drop a poll re: Guv overcrowdedness in the TOTA forum and you'll see what I mean.
Enjoy
so lawlurr or no lawlurr? :whip:
