a question about muzik

Seeing as I've been on hiatus from the club scene for several months, I've kinda fallen out of touch with some of the newer venues popping up in the city. Also since one of my co-workers wants to check out this club, I was curious to learn a little bit about this new place in the Ex grounds.
So can any of you club heads out there tell me what they play, what they layout/crowd, Fri/Sat nights are like? Or even a link to the website? I don't wanna give advice without a little knowledge, even if it isn't first hand |

from what ive been told by various people who have been to muzik, it is a very very very poshy club. no idea what music they play on either night but nobody there is there for the music. everyone is just there to be seen. |

from what i have heard expect a bottle service crowd , bottles being on average 50-75% more than other venues
very upscale crowd , no idea about the music being played, but apparently good light and sound system and be prepared to vacate your VIP booth after you have finished your drinks as they like to sell the spacce to the next guest |

thanks. This should be enought to dissuade any party to move to that location, but any info on the music would be good as well. |

I haven't been either, but here's the website: http://www.muzikclubs.com/
I think I remember someone here saying that cover for women is free, but for men its $50 on regular nights. lol
I don't plan on going to this club anytime soon... |

From what I know it is only open Saturday nights. Very upscale...make sure you get guest list $20 reduced cover if I remember. Drinks are $8. bottles are very expensive Around $300 for a bottle of grey goose vodka.
Very big club/hall, lots of sitting areas, side rooms etc. holds 1500 people no problem. Sound system...meh it is the old alphasonic dynacord system from Boa-redux, but sounded like ass not the right set up. But not like people there care about the music anyways.Dance floor is big with vaulted ceiling with cathedral style glass dome very cool. It is all about mingling much like a Centrury Room, Maro, Brant House, or This is London Saturday crowd.
Hope it helps...check it out a lot of hotties to be seen. |
