Lilith's EBM-Darkwave mix

Probably not the right site for this, but seeing as it's electronic I figured it would be of some interest to a couple of people, that and my current knowledge of trance is pretty awful with most of my collection being 5-10years old and one wants to listen to that anymore :p

[[ LINK REMOVED ]]

80meg running time of 1:07

Will - Summoning (Lilith remix)
Aphex Twin - Headphelym
Black Lung - Sinister Control Minority
Snog - The future
VNV Nation - Honour (Juno Reactor Remix)
Covenant - Tabula Rasa (Club Version)
Clan of Xymox - Anguish (Front 242 remix)
Covenant - Tears like rain
Electronaut - VNV Nation
Zeromancer - Something for the Pain (Apoptygma Remix)
Snog - Hunter
Front 242 - Religion (Prodigy Trance mix)
Fear Factory - Martyr (Suffer Bastard mix)

Not a lot there for your average trance fan, unless youre into hard-edge/ambient sort of stuff and youre probably not going to get a real room-rave out of it :haha:
It's fairly dark, ambient and moody for the most part until the end where at about 1am last night I decided to throw some just plain mean and nasty stuff which should piss the neighbours off, frighten small children and annoy old people. (also the 3rd time behind a mixer for me so don't expect too much...)
Sorry about no direct link (but it works!)

Very nice!

Some of those tracks aren't my cup of tea, but I do appreciate the originality. I wish more DJs around here did stuff like this.

WIll give feedback soon.

Good stuff Lilith, thoroughly enjoyed it, except for that one track with the Marilyn Manson type vocals dude :D ;).
Rainborn
Judging by the tracklist, this should be really cool. Grabbing it now, thanks!

I have to admit, I dont own any MM albums and my knowledge of his stuff is sketchy at best. Over 80% of this tracklist dates around 1993-97 I grew up in so I'd say it was a case of him borrowing stuff from the earlier industrial and EBM scene (Not to be confused with EDM, if you wanted something to dance too this probably isnt it! :D)
It's also mixed on live-mode, so if its a little rough on the transpositions uhh well I'll sort this software out eventually with a bit more practice.
Thanks for listening anyway :)

I didn't really notice any rough transitions there really, although I must admit I was doing other things while listening to it. But it was certainly a pleasure to listen to from start to finish, and something that's not dance music is a nice change. I'd say your mixing skills are rather impressive for someone with not much experience, good job ;).

I only made it about 30 seconds in... it didn't align with my own tastes... so I'm only posting for Purely Symbolic reasons...

This is a def. far cry from what I normally listen to but the darkness of it overall makes me feel..........

.......homely. Me loves it! Keep up the great work! ;)
