Of course.

I will work on a track, leave it for awhile, then go back to it. So who knows how long it actually takes to complete one.

+1

Sometimes I slam one out in 1-2 nights... sometimes it's months before I complete one.

Sometimes I spend 2 weeks on a track. Then never finish it cause I dont like the idea I had for it at the time I was doing it.

And sometimes I cant finish a track because Windows is so amazing that out of no where when I hit the power on button on my PC it'll say boot disk failure.

But most times it takes a few days to a few weeks.

But now I switched to a Mac so I'm learning Cubase.

Then I'll go back to that track and hear good things in it again....it seems if I spend too much time on a track I get sick of it and think it's not good. If I give it time then come back to it, I realize it wasn't so bad after all and thank god I didn't get pissed and delete it at the time:nervous:

Months, always.
Project 7
i can slam the main structure in about 1 hour, then the rest of the track takes 3-4 days, i ussually think and write down stuff though for days before
