For resolution I stayed at the W. WOW what an amazing place! Perfect for clubbers! Everywhere is dimly lit, the elevator is gently lit by a dark green light, the rooms are lit by glowing blue night stands... check out the pictures.. definently worth the money! the place is nuts!!

The rooms are not all unique, some of them are similar.

I heard the penthouse suites are amazing.

Wunderbar a really great place to be, would be nice to have a nice private party or a small event.

How much u paid for a night at W ?
Spin Laden
lol, I stayed at Hotel La Tour Belvedere. I got a fed gov't rate so that was cool ($112 for two beds) and it was close to mall, SAQ, 24 hr McDonalds, Nickels, mall with Winners, IGA, subway etc. It's a 30 min walk from Bell (close to Dawson College). It has a full kitchenette so we did it welfare style and bought groceries.

For Bal en Blanc, we already have three rooms booked for the Holiday Inn Express right across the street from the venue. I guess we won't get any rest :p

9/10

Snarcher, what did you pay? I think I know that place..

One thing I can not wait for them to open a new hotel right across PdC :) I think its going to be the Westin.

Its all about the Financial District and Old Montreal.

I didn't know it was possible to fall in love with a hotel until now. Definitely booking a room at the W for BeB!

Thanks for enlightening me, Snarcher :)

Opens in 2008.

I can not wait.

hehe.

There alot of stuff changing in the old port and in the financial district :)

Now for land value too double and equal to Toronto or Vancouver.

One of the buildings the Westin/Condo/Business will be in was used to film a movie a couple years back (The Whole Nine Yards)

I can not wait for this hotel to be open, I kept walking by the place for a good couple of years and nothing was happening.

One thing there is alot of Condo development happening in the Old Port also: L'Etoile, St Antoine (right on the side of PdC) which is some how connected to L'Etoile, I think its the same project not sure. Also I think they are gutting a building at the other end of PdC near Place D'Armes Hotel, not sure anymore.

I am going to really enjoy the new Montreal. Especially when I will be near all of it
