they are closing the 2nd week of January, and will be opening back up on the 9th or 10th. They are going to be knocking down the wall, and basically doubling the size. Be prepared for a whole new Sullivan. |

Are they taking down the Crackwhore Lounge and Stairwell to Hell with it???
On another note, the graffiti, and empty coke bags really give the lounge some NYC flavor... very homey feeling there. |
Whoa tiger.
The stairs and that lounge technically belong to the Lion's Den even though they get over-run. As far as I know the stairs are part of the fire code requirements and are staying.
Also: new system, new seating areas, new booth, new dancefloor, lighting, etc. If they end up moving the booth, which is under discussion the place will have a totally different layout but I think it's gonna stay put.
Big lineup by Jack! I'll be by for sure. |

to be honest, we got lucky we got R. Dinsdale when we did. Three days later he signed a contract with Ministry of Sound to be their new resident and he was only able to keep bookings he already had in planning.
Really looking forward to this... hew sound will def. flex that new setup properly. |
