drinking expired energy drinks?

| i just bought a 24 of red rain for $15.99 in kensington today and it expired in august.... is it unhealthy to drink them now or something??? what would cause an energy drink to expire???? or would they just be unaffective? |

You got ripped off. This large carribean food store at Keele and Finch sells them for 3 for a dollar or 8 bucks a case. I tried them, no biggie. I prefer a coffee anyways (but not in Minnesota). |

i wouldnt say i got ripped off, because any other energy drink costs at least $2 each.... i think i am paying like $0.67 each or something like that....
and the place is like a 3 min walk from my house.... so i'm happy |

| If anything, the flavor probably won't be as strong as it would have been before August. |

| They're probably 100% fine, the expiry it just something that is probably required by the government to be on the product. For instance, look at bottled water - it can't expire or anything, but hey, there's a 1 year expiry date on them. |
