Best Overall Club : Stereo (but that was the only one I went to at all often. hit Aria a couple times, but on kind of off nights and it just didn't have the magic anymore)

Best Overall Afterhour : Stereo. Sander, Carl Cox and Mark Farina...solid lineups all the time.
Best Afterhour Event : Tied between Sander @ Stereo and Carl @ Stereo. I'm giving the win to Sander because that party was mighty, and it changed my attitude towards electro-prog
Favorite Up&coming Mtl Dj : dunno
Favorite Up&coming Internationnal Dj : DJ Murphy (though he didn't play Montreal. Somebody book him!!)
Favorite Producer : nobody really stood out for me this year. I haven't been sucked into the whole minimalectro sounds enough to really single out a solid producer.
Favorite Dj : Too many to name, that have all rocked Montreal:
Sander: was my first time seeing him at Stereo and was blown away
Carl Cox: it's Carl, come on.
Lawler: Rocked Sundance Sunday afternoon. I had seen him on his first Lights Out tour at Kool Haus and was really disappointed. I was really impressed at Sundance
Favorite Local Dj of 2006 : I was really impressed with XL the few times I've heard him at Stereo, either openning or closing. Creator gets a close 2nd. Different sounds, but equally good.
Best memories of 2006 : Sundance Festival. Awesome weekend, couldn't have been better. M_Nus Piknik was awesome as well.
I didn;t go out as much this year as I did in previous years. My list for next year will be much different, though it probably won't include any Montreal events (though I really hope they do Sundance again, the city deserves an awesome event like that!)
