i saw a flyer for this so i have to ask.....
Is George that much of an ego maniac that he needs to have his pic on the flyer?
Shouldn't E.V have his pic on the flyer too? |

i now this but what everybody seems to forget is the locals yes big names are better to get people to come in no sh*t,but what about the local's is what i say.
besides this is why i don't post my opinion cause if it's not the same
as everybody they jump on you.

F**K the scene. and i support everybody that i like or that my freinds
like. and sorry that i can't id a song they play i'm not an expert like you and win-amp hopefully i will get to you're level.

I know you are just doing your job, and yes we have seen this type of scenario blow up into drama b4. But please try not to close this thread unless completely necessary. If someone breaks the forum rules or goes completely off topic warn them, delete their posts, etc.
But as far as this thread goes a promoter/someone posted about the Edgar and Acosta residency, and asked us TAs for suggestions as to what DJs we would like to see as guest DJs. I think the discussion has stayed on that topic to a point, and the end result is hopefully that they will listen to us and bring some of these DJs (a good thing I think). Some people have strong opinions about who should be brought and why, and they should say so without making it a personal attack on others because everyone is entitled to their opinion. Yet it is a message board, so a little humor, sarcasm, etc is expected from time-to-time. People just need to breathe sometimes b4 they post.
With that said, back on topic. I already mentioned who I would like brought down, but I have no problem with locals being brought. In fact the party already has 2 of our biggest locals as residents. Definitely bring Eric as well, would like to see him play in that room so he can bang out a proper big room set. But bring some of the out-of-state/international talent as well, because people really need to be expsoed to diversity in trance. Otherwise everyone outside of TA and other music heads keep thinking that trance is just Tiesto and PVD. I like them both, but there is a lot more to it IMO. |
