First time in NYC -- Want to check out Crobar, some questions

hey guys,
im visiting NYC for the first time this weekend, I was looking at the party planner and the Steve Porter show looked really appealing.. My questions are:
Can I pre purchase the tickets?
How much would a cab be to & from 481 8Th Avenue 34Th Street (Ramada Plaza New Yorker Hotel)? Should I just rent a car in NY (it is going to cost a little more for me, I'am under 25******)?
What time do you guys stop serving alcohol? (lol)
Should I arrive early, does it get sold out quick?
...I'am a complete newbie when it comes to the NY clubbing scene, so if you guys have some insight, share it! thanks |

-you're not getting into crobar if you're under 15...owait maybe you will but you don't need to rent a car, cab to crobar from 34th and 8th is like $6-8 max...better off walking there tbh

Hi Dilmeet, I'm in much the same position. I've been here since Saturday, but found Crobar closed when I went to check it out. It might be open this weekend, they are in court today apparently.
I am guessing your cab will be about 7 dollars, it's not far. |

I just think that if I was to come to nYc to party for one weekend; I would pick:
Boris --- Saturday 01/13/07--- Pacha (NYC)
Dean Coleman & That Kid Chris --- Saturday 01/13/07--- Crobar (NYC)
those two parties cuz Boris will spin late and you can make two clubs in one night with better vibe then on Friday and better music too. just my $.02
EDIT: Lets hope that Crobar re-opens by this weekend too. :toothless |

| Yeah just cab it. Porter was awesome when he opened up for PVD @ Roseland plus Crobar is free, and open bar till 11:30 if you're on the list. |
