Ok so here I go...
I worked 5pm-10pm, then Tag + girlfriend and Greg (allied nations) came over to my place and we had some pre-drinking going on til about 330am when we left to go to The Temple.
We waited in line for about an hour and I couldn't feel my toes whatsoever, finally got in (there was still a massssssive line up outside)...Grondin was ripping things up nicely, Calderone came on around 430am, started out banging...good old prog house...then he kinda drifted into a more glitchy sound but he kept the banging bass the whole way through. I guess the combo of the glitch and proggy basslines threw me off...And I just couldn't get myself fully into it, sadly...:(
Nice seeing some TAs out and about: licks, alliednations, tag, shawn05 summerwolf, louis, ummmm I'm sure there are more names, sorry if I forgot you!!!
Maher surprised me and showed up at the club a bit after my arrival...We just chilled in the VIP most of the time spent at Stereo...I was continuously waiting for something to get me right into the beat, but nothing caught my attention enough for me to have one of those awesome nights.
Nonetheless, I simply love just BEING at Stereo...The most magical place in my heart :)
It was PACKED...verrrrry hot inside too...But that's expected...
Hope all who went enjoyed their time...I'm curious what time did things start to slow down???

Alright... i think i am currently dying while writing this...i am completly destroyed.
I just got home 30 minutes ago.
I dont ever think i ever danced that long in my life.... pretty much 17 hours non stop... i think im gonna cry from the pain in my legs.
Alright, lets go to positives points.
Arrived at Stereobar at 11pm, didnt pick up till 1am since it was so cold outside. I didnt care, start chatting with some people and danced.... then went upstairs at 2:45am. The place was already kinda packed...
Grondin did a good job. I aint gonna say i was blown away but it was good. Then Calderone came on. I think until 8-9am, he kept doing stuff that made me lose my groove. But i kept dancing, but it was hard... i dont know how to describe it. Saw Stereohead and Licks again and got to meet Shawn05, Tag and Allied Nations. That is cool. Last week i didnt meet anybody but that is because i wanted to dance so much i just hidded in a corner and danced. But tonight, holy did i meet a lot of people.
Anyway, so i danced and danced.... Calderone was on till 1pm. I swear to god... the last 45 minutes, he destroyed the place... like no kidding, it was so powerful, dirty, technoish it made no freaking sense, i wish the whole set would have been like that....
THen i went back downstairs and danced until 4pm.... i could barely walk my ass out of Stereobar... when i left, it was still packed...
All in all, wicked time, im hurting a lot, but it was worthed |
