Which DJ inspired you to start.....

Just curious who really made you say "I want to do what he/she does".

And don't try to come up with the most original and eclectic answer. Even if it's one of the top 10 commercialized DJ's, I want to hear it.

Mine is Markus Schulz. I had heard many before him, but there was just something that really clicked with me when watching and listening to his set.

I wouldn't really call them DJs tho, more producers, but yeah you get my point lol

Yeah, I know. I have some of their old stuff. I think that and Josh Wink were two of the first CD's I ever had. You know, when all of it was still called 'underground'.

I want to say Herbie Hanwith Rockit, but maybe I should say Grand Mixer DXT because he was the guy doing the scratching in that song. Extremely primitive scratching by today's standards but at that time it blew my mind. The synth and drum machines in the song didn't hurt either.

i bought decks coz traktor was ed

years before that i started making mixes on the comp, was a natural progression from listening to dance music, before i'd heard any dj's

but i guess after listening to tiesto @ innercity 98, that's when it changed from something i did every now and then, to an obsession
