Psy-gressive by far, followed by some uplifting stuff as in classic and ofcourse Goa.
Banging morning trance ftw.
My favourite genre though is clearly Ambient :) |

| British progressive trance from 1998-2000, i.e. stuff that Oakenfold, Sasha and Digweed used to play. Hooj, Platipus etc. The German sound of that timeperiod is good too, never liked dutch epic though. |

Mostly dark Ambient, but also very much Ambient techno/Ambient house.
Almost everything ambient gets me in the mood, That's why I love it! :)

I don't know if I can say one sub-genre, because that simply implies that sub-genre throughout its history. If I were simply to say "progresisve" I'm saying all prog trance from when it was concieved to the present day, including all the different takes on it. Which isn't true.
So I'd guess I'd have to say progressive trance from a certain era, running right from 1994-ish until 2001. This may owe to the ambiguity of the term "progressive trance" back then, before the anthemic template really set in and created a boundary, while in the other direction classic trance pretty much died. |
