| Atleast he gave some sort of fight in the 1st set, but afterwards Roger gulped down the rocket sauce and took over the match completely. Oh well, atleast Gonzalez played some really good tennis and hopefully he can get a chance to fight for another Grand Slam sometime soon. |

| Didn't see the game, but I'm highly impressed by Roger not losing a set. |

Richard Krajicek beat Sampras in 1996, otherwise he would've had 8 in a row.
Federer stopped Sampras' bid to tie Bjorn Borg's Open Era record of 5 in a row. |
My bad - nice work with that one;)
Can go on 4ever about Federer once again.
Amazing player, gracious champion, all class:D
Federer vs Nadal @ Roland Garros is all i'm focused on now.

what would be even better is if Nadal beats him again at the French. All champions need an Archilles heal and some rivalry :)
If Nadal is never going to beat Federer on hardcourt or grass then he deserves to keep his "master of clay" status, imo. Knowing Federer (and his coach) though they'll be working extra hard to take out the grand slam this year. |
