I swear more than I should. I attribute this to being raised by a man whose second language was English. English heavily laced with GODDAMN MOTHERER BITCH , etc., etc.
I got in trouble at the babysitter's for saying cunt when I was 8. Imagine my surprise when I explained to my father why I got in trouble, and he said he didn't even know what that word meant. LOL. |

I cant swear around parents...just out of respect...ill say and stuff but never or anything....
i must say at least 30-50 times a day

| To me language is "hearer centric". The hearer of words is the one who attributes meaning, not the speaker. I swear all the time, because they are just words, the same as any other. If a hearer hears the words, and reacts to them, it is because of the meaning they attribute to the words, not because of anything I have done. I think people being offended etc. by hearing swearing says more about that person, than the person doing the swearing. |
