| yea i swear alot...every other sentence has a swear in it...but strangely when im around my parents, i cant help but control myself....its a total subconscious thing |

Swear words alone are a poor way to be insulting. For maximum effect, they must be combined with other words, ideally with gruesome imagery.
eg,
1) You festering slice of rotten rat-ringmeat.
2a) Go a meat grinder. (for men)
2b) Go a boat motor. (for women)
2c) Go a beltsander. (for either)
But even in the 2nd case, sometimes the insult can be even more effective if "" is replaced with something more tame like "shag".
So yeah, I swear occasionally but attempt to employ a touch of class for optimal poignancy and effectiveness. |

I agree. Same thing with me. I just naturally, subconsciously seem to abate all swearing when around my parents. I dont actively try not to swear in front of them, its just that I dont ever seem to end up swearing around them without ever making any effort not to.
Interesting that it happens like that, eh? |
