Doh! At least a couple weeks, maybe sooner. You can expedite it too. Mine came in 10 days shortly after 9/11. I was impressed.
There's still time...hurry! :D |

I was wrong...you're still in luck with no passport!
Effective January 23, 2007, all U.S. citizens traveling by air to and from the Caribbean, Bermuda, Panama, Mexico and Canada are required to have a valid passport to enter or re-enter the United States. As early as January 1, 2008, U.S. citizens traveling between the United States and the Caribbean, Bermuda, Panama, Mexico and Canada by land or sea (including ferries), may be required to present a valid U.S. passport or other documents as determined by the Department of Homeland Security.
Still have until 2008 by land. :) |

its approx $175 to get it in 2 weeks. otherwise its $97 and it can take up to 8 weeks. |

Actually, believe that $175 to get in one day...if you have a local passport office. :)
But you must be travelling within two weeks to be able to get the passport within one day. And you usually have to show proof you are travelling within two weeks. They didn't ask me when I got it rushed (was flying to Japan), but they did ask for a workmates of mine and verified his flight. Heh. |
