Me too.

I only took you for that one sketchy ride, eh? Did you ever get to drive it?

That's a load of bull. you're just not hitting the throttle hard enough. I practiced sliding my A4 around my street yesterday at night (I live on a crescent), and in second gear, too much gas, and it's sideways in no time. Although I have all seasons. I need to slap some winters on her, but I'm too lazy. Next year for sure.

Here's your problem: A4 is not heavy or powerful as S4, plus mine had proper winter tires:)

I like the S4 a lot too...but if you consider 1g Talons to be 'rice rockets', then I don't know what to say...cause that's just ignorant ;)

Man, you just can't compare German cars and the rest of auto world.
Don't even start.

Both those things should make sliding your S4 around a lot easier than mine? :conf:

I want to sooooooooooo bad. But Cale and I haven't seen each other in 3 weeks, so he's coming down for the night. A night of studying. Boo :( I expect lots of texts so I can cry over how much fun I'll be missing.

haha...the S4 wasn't exactly a shining beacon of quality either in its early years ;)

comparing a luxery sports sedan to a sports coupe though...it's kind of hard to do. I'm a fan of performance first, luxery and appearance being secondary.

Given that...what car would you rather have on the track, an STi or an S4? how about WRX vs. A4? Subes are cheaper too and an S4 is packing about an extra 700 lbs vs. an STi too.

all fun cars...I really wouldn't turn away driving any one of them...but they're not comparable, IMHO...and this "german quality" is bull too (hell, I'm half German, so I'm not down on the germans). VW's crappy quality record (until recently) is proof of that.
