The story doesn't live up to the title, unfortunately.

Bothell home destroyed in fire; pet turtles found safe

By Seattle Times Eastside bureau

About $550,000 damage was done in a fire that broke out Wednesday night and destroyed a Bothell home.

There were no injuries, and even two pet turtles were found unharmed, but the 1963 house was destroyed.

The blaze was reported at 9:46 p.m. in a home at 1510 231st St. S.W. in the Snohomish County area of Bothell, said Kirsten Clemens, Bothell fire public-information officer.

When crews arrived, they found heavy smoke and flames coming from inside the building. Twenty firefighters from three fire departments fought the blaze and brought it under control.

The cause remains under investigation.

Hey everyone! Welcome to the St. Teresa Group.

I did a search to see if something existed for those of us who attended school there, but no such luck. So, here we are. This could be a cool way to find some old acquaintances from back in the day (or maybe not so back in the day for you youngins) ;)!

Anyway, I went to St. Teresa's from 1993 - 1994, 1994 - 1995 and 1995 - 1996 for grades 3, 4, and 5. My teachers were Mrs. Druar (sp), Mrs. Beechey, and Mr. Bamburger.

Those were the good ole days :)

The Prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune (or Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun) is a musical composition for orchestra by Claude Debussy that was first performed in 1894, conducted by Gustave Doret. It was inspired by the poem L'après-midi d'un faune by Stéphane Mallarmé and later formed the basis for the ballet of the same name by Vaslav Nijinsky. The composition is one of Debussy's most famous works and is considered a turning point in the history of music; Composer-conductor Pierre Boulez even dates the awakening of modern music from this score, observing that “the flute of the Faun brought new breath to the art of music.”[citation needed] It is a work that barely grasps onto tonality and harmonic function.

It's also a ing brilliant piece of music.
