I was trying to spend my last voucher at Beatport tonight before heading to bed when I saw a banner on Beatport for this EP - "Into Your Heart" is one of the Classic Progressive House tunes from the late 90's (94-ish I believe) that I've been absolutely in love with forever. It was also one of the first pieces of treasured vinyl I had stolen from me.
Well, it's back and up on Beatport now, alongside the Original and Space mixes, it includes the following remixes:
- Terry Lee Brown Junior
- Guess Whose Remix
- John Selway Remix
- Skool Phunk Reconstruction Mix [This one stands out heads and tails above the other Remixes]
I am absolutely floored to be able to play both the Original and Space mixes out again, and of the lot of them, TLBJ's mix may be my least favorite, that or perhaps Selways. - Either way, these are an absolute must have.

I was never really down with the original and the remixes really didn't do anything for me. Maybe hearing them in context / at length I'd change my mind on them.
And what's the deal with TLBJ's remix being only 3:40 long on BP? |

You'll hear at least one version tomorrow :gsmile:
And even then, the real place this one (especially the original) does it's damage is on the dancefloor! :p |

PS: This track tastes like my childhood!
:wtf:
Alright... I'll give up now and head to sleep - I'm just really, really happy to see this rereleased!

Speaking of old records, I was just reminiscing today about my clubbing days back in the mid 90s and the track that always comes to mind is Armand van Helden's mix of Sneaker Pimps - Spin Spin Sugar. I was so damn determined to own a copy of this track again that I went to a record store in Milwaukee today and bought it on vinyl.

A. Tune! :)
B. I definitely know the feeling - Have the same one, right now! :)
Edit: I just finished d/l'ing them all again, and I can't believe how good it feels just to hear these tunes again - I've likely not heard them in near 10 years! There are few tunes that would top this as far as re-releases go :happy2: |

| Also, one more note before I head to sleep - The "Guess Whose" remixes were done by Terry Lee Brown Jr. as well. |
