what I meant was that the poll is pretty much a joke because;
a) youll never get EVERYONE to agree on a winner because its far too subjective (which applies to pretty much every other poll trying to determine the "best" of something)
and
b)its a small poll that doesnt carry much weight outside of these circles
people laugh off the djmag polls which are a lot bigger... much less this. nevermind though, its interesting and kinda fun to see what the community thinks of todays dance music. and with the rise of this track youre getting the message that people are tired of the same cookie cutter, formulaic trance thats being churned out lately. accept it...it shouldnt threaten you. the masses dont dictate your taste unless you let them |

that has nothing to do with anything i was saying really anyway.
the vote is a joke because people like u make it a joke btw ;) , it lost the first round of voting by a load so it just proves my point. |

Even if you got diarrhea and vomiting from TBU it's still more than you could have possibly felt from any of the other tracks other than The Antikythera Mechanism featured in this poll :wtf: |

I think you're right.
Everybody says, "We voted for BT because it's our way to demonstrate that we want something different". Ok, unusual stuff is good, but, it should still be trance. The Antikythera is not trance, so what's the sense of your argues? Show to Armin van Buuren that we want him making peaces of art, instead of dancing tunes?
I, personally, prefer the dancing ones, although I recognize that TBU is a peace of art. |

| After listening to these songs almost non-stop for the past 5 days I finally went with Arksun - Arisen, barely edging out Exactly. The reason I ended up voting for this song is simple: it was the only song of the bunch that after listening to time and time again I didn't get tired, annoyed, or bored with. But to its credit it has a fantastic melody and is spiritually uplifting. Good job, Laurence! |
