Yet Paul still can't do much that gets me excited with all of that . One computer running Ableton hooked up to a MIDI controller is more than enough to do the trick. Why in the hell does he need keyboards, drummers, studio mixers, and things of the like for the sets he seems to throw down. You don't need any of that to play an ATRC accapella at 140bpm.

You're still thinking inside the box. Live improv man... in case he wants to toss in a loop created on the fly.. an auxiliary melody. True, to "DJ" he has more than he needs, but in case he wants to add some improvisational elements, his setup provides him with this capability.

So he has the ability to make in awesome and improvised set, he just 9 times out of 10 doesn't.

Sounds enticing.

Getting old and jaded huh??;)

You know I experienced it for the first time at Above and Beyond, then again at the Armada party at this WMC....There is a way to mentally take your self in the music so far above everything else, that nothing else matters. Your surroundings and everything that may cause any friction inside you just don't matter anymore because you are mentally on another plane. And your entire being responds to that from a smile that can't be removed from your face to the way you dance to your exuberance....everything...It is great!

Hah. I remember when you thought you were such a bad ass getting into the big shows when you were under age.

Now what....you're too cool for school?

We have tickets but will probably sell them. I dunno...

I wouldn't mind seeing PVD again (it's been a while) but I just don't like the Tabby.

And someone said PVD will be better because his crowd is different than Tiesto's....I disagree. A lot of people jumped on the Tiesto bandwagon when he became #1 in the world....you don't think all the people just now getting into Trance are doing the same with PVD?

The crowd will be pretty much the same...the venue just sucks ass and there will be more people which makes for a far worse time.

Ask yourself the same question when you watch Trentemoller's live performance of "Moan."

Xevious
that's sick too bad we'll never see a performance like that in atlanta...

Because that sounds leap years more original and better than anything Paul ever does with Ableton and all that other tripe he has on stage. What Trente is doing is a live act, Paul is mixing. I can tell the difference in Trente's live act over the actual recorded and produced track and he implements the instruments well, Paul just mashes together (and usually makes it sound quite gash in the process).
