plain and simple - you can always tell when someone's fake... well alright maybe not always but most of the time anyway.
i prefer me a girl that's natural and i know she will stay that way and age with me like a human being, not like some half-plastic monster.
however, i don't knock her for doing it. her living standard will definitely increase as this society is very much based on looks and there are some shallow guys out there that will give her the time of day.
AND - that's not saying that if i wasn't drunk i wouldn't hit it. i'm just saying i wouldn't waste more than that on someone like this. |

Not necessarily. Aesthetics do play an important role in attraction, and she has become a completely different person aesthetically.
It could also happen regarding common interests. Let's suppose you dislike emo culture and you're a trance music enthusiast. You find out that an emo girl, who you despised for looking emo, not only likes trance, but she also produces and spins and knows the difference between progressive and uplifting trance. Wouldn't that make a difference? Would it be shallow to talk to her just because of a common interest? |

that's different. ok it's like this. take your situation - the girl is totally awesome and whatnot but just butt ugly. so while i can stand her in conversation i would never do anything with her because she's not a looker. she gets a little work done, maybe goes on the cocaine diet, etc. etc. all of a sudden she's hot and i'm hitting on her because now i got taht sexual attraction also.
it's like that movie shallow hal... i dunno maybe i am way of base here but i thought i was making sense.
just forget it... i give up. |
