...and you should know I'm not completely ignorant of the 'American Experience' to see how a white person will cross the street when they see a black person coming the other way, how you get served last in a resteraunt by the waiter because youre a foreigner and not white, how a woman will clutch her purse even when youre wearing a Chanel suit and make more in a week than she will in a year.
How your president uses foreign and terror in every speech he's ever made in the last 3 years, how he says 'umm' a lot when he lies to the media.
How your global isolation has made people ignorant enough to believe it twice even though your influence and hatred for foreigners touches on everyones lives at some point.
How your police will pull me over driving a rented SLK thinking I stole it or the airport security will rip my luggage to pieces and keep me in a room for 6hrs because I fit a profile and I was working for a French company at the time.
How I see the sons of immigrants adopt to conformity rather than hold some of their own heritage to heart so they'll fit in rather than be unique. Even if it means adopting the role of faux ultra-conservative or extreme-rebellious, rather than a gentler moderation from their lifes experiences and family history of acceptance of new ways.
Have I always struck you people as being completely that ignorant? :(
I know why
Just saddening it's come to nothing more than lip service because the fear of speaking out will get you condemned by your peers or beaten by the law enforcement for standing up in the faux freedom land you've never had to fight for a day in your lives.
Quite happily fight for someone overseas or a vague ideal, might be time to fight for something closer to home for once :( |

| Not that it'll matter to anyone reading it, people's personal pride and outside criticism is never taken well even if its from some moderate, fence sitting, foreign bitch who really hopes you'll do something about it. I probably should find something better to do with my time than waste it here where no one understands most of the time or tries to read between the lines that arent there. |

I love watching my black friends talk to cops. They are always so polite and trying not to grin wildly whenever they encounter an cop. It has got to be a great feeling in some respect when you get hassled by a racist cop who knows all he can do is try to intimidate you verbally. It is for some of my friends at least. They are always like "is there anything else Mr. Officer?" and we watch with great enjoyment as the cop swallows with anger, thinks for a moment, and then says "no, you're free to go." |

SO true!
Also, what allot of people do not realize is that, even though this "new" muslim racisim is new to you. Blacks and Hispanics have been putting up with this for hundreds of years.....
just saying, its nothing new.... accept that you will be called a sand ******, terrorist, Spic, wet back and so forth from White and yes even Black and Hispanic America. We had to over come it....
***********edit an after thought- the reason America is so scared of the muslim is because there are certain members of your religion or race, that like to strap bombs to thier selves and blow up innocent people like a 13yr old tossing off. It happens allot. The Muslims need a leader like MLK or Cesar Chavez of the Cali days or even a Ghandi type in order to change the world's view of your religion/race.
might seem harsh, but as long as the media has the opps to report; "A muslim strapped explosives to thier selves and blew up and killed 15 kids in line to get candy" the world will fear you and profile you.
I personally do not fear any man, except for my pops. I have best buds of all reace/religion.. But this whole "they are picking on me" attitude that has recently arose here in America when it deals with a muslim does not surprise me at all. |
