None of those guys play in the US. :(
You're prolly going to have to make a trip to Germany or Ibiza. They pretty much only play in continental Europe due to visa crap or just plain not liking the US as I believe is Villalobos' case. :sadgreen:

Yeah, I kinda feel the same way. But you gotta think, is it worth it for them to spend several grand on a visa if they are only going to play here once? |

True, but think of the exposure they can get. In the long run I'm sure that would pay off their visa. |

ricardo doesnt need the exposure. dig up one or two of the few interviews there are on him, then you will get it.
He wont come to the USA due to the current policies of our administration.
guido, ananda, and mayer have all played in NY from what i recall..
they have all been booked by the robots.. if you are in philly, you get loads of good bookings there. Beema, where are you these days?? I remember i met you in DC one time.

I wish I could goto a lot more parties in NYC, but frankly, nobody down here wants to go up with me and I'd have no place to stay.
Once I took the bus up by myself to see Michel de Hey and went back down right after with no sleep. It was doable and I had fun at the show, but I'd rather not do it again.
I want to come up for Sven Vath in May, but it's on a Thursday which means I have to take off work (I don't mind doing that, but I'd rather have someone to go with), and it also means that my friends who might be willing to go, wont, b/c they don't want to take off work (they arent into the scene like I am, so it's not worth taking off work for them).
I haven't seen any of those guys booked in the US before except maybe Michael Mayer. |

Yeah, we get Wink the last Wednesday of every month and then he brings a guest here and there, but its always on a Wednesday night which is no good for me. Other than that, there isn't a whole hell of a lot going on in Philly these days. |

I only remember seeing Mayer as well and that was for the New Yorker Dance Party which I think was the same night as Loco Dice. |

yeah, I can't figure out why
I flew out of there to Munich -- never doing it again. screw that airport, and the town itself aint much to speak of either imo
airport in sucks and they ed up our flight so much
there's a reason for cheap flights and it aint cause airlines like you :p |
