it was nice to met you ravensyz. glad to hear you had a good time.
as far as Johan's set goes i thought it was pretty bad...as in not good. he really over did his looping tricks, and the loops were off as well. i'm not a trance kinda so i can't really comment on the tracks. all i know is i really thought his mixing was very sloppy.
all the other djs did a great job though.
and what was with the muddy sound in the back room? |

Great night!!! Got there at 9pm and Bob was already on. Went to get some drinks and was pretty much trashed by 10pm :crazy: :wtf: :( Not to take anything away from Victor or Johan but Bobs set owned the night IMO despite some sound issues Circus was having.
Victor as always played a great set as well as Johan. I actually liked the noise stuff he was doing. Worked for me.
First time trying out the tacos at Circus and damn, everyone was right, they are good. Sorry I didn't try them before.
Hope the fun/friendly vibe continues at Avalon although I have my concerns.
Great meeting you ravensyz. Hopefully I wasn't too incoherent from those damn Ernesto drinks lol.

greg im sooo with you on bobs set being bad ass. the best of the night. victor ya did well too it just was too fluffy for me.
had a great night overall. saw a lot of people i dont see all the time. twas a good night. |

that was the best family reunion ever ever ever.. i saw people i have not seen in years!! so fun... ~ have to send kudos to those who came from sf, az, and ny to experience this.. fun night...
i had to wonder to every room at one point or another, everyone was rockin !! ..bob.. you really really kicked ass btw...
johan was super nice......thank you ....
it was amazing seeing eveyone come together .......fun night

For anyone who thought Johan sucked should have checked out the back room! (regardless of the muddy sound) Blake set kicked ass! I LOVED IT! :D I know he is not a well "known" name here in LA. But this guy is not only an extreamly talented producer but Dj as well :) I was back there the entire time so I compleatly missed Johan.
Anyways... I had so much Fun on Saturday! At the start of the night I was running around saying hi and talking to everybody. It seemed like everyone and their bother was there!
I just wanted to thank EVERYONE for comming out to support the back room. :) And thank everyone for comming to Spundae. Lets bring that vibe with us to Avalon! :D
