I thought that I could find somebody better than her.... So, now after 4 years I realize how badly I have screwed up... Probably going to regret this rest of my life... :(

I would not have danced so close to the speakers. Now I always hear crickets and it's driving me mad.

BTG...that non trust thing will always be an issue. Its her problem, that will most likely ruin everything.

That they had not raised me to become a teacher/professor and that, if I liked languages, I should instead pursue a career in diplomacy (by studying Foreign Affairs) or Computer Engineering. Coming from a country where an educational/academic career is not well seen, it took me about 3 years to realise how stupid it all was.

I wish I had had the guts to study Linguistics in São Paulo, although I'm now working hard to "catch up".

marcus as long as u are studying and happy to study the field of your choice .....that's all what matters

parents often have an another view about what their kids and jobs , careers....and i guess it's hard for them to accept we want to emancipate and wont necessarily become what they dreamt us to be, but parents have to accept that children are not like little dolls or muppets , so even if they may not be totally satisfied with your choice or decisions.....that's your life , that's you who is building your career ,as long as it makes u glad that's the most important

I wouldn't of messed about in school and college. I've had to do things the hard way and ended up in a job I don't really enjoy doing.

No point kicking yourself in 20-20 hindsight unless you learn something from it, regardless of all the awful choices I've made in the past and been a part of some peoples other crap decisions, I've made some big wins as well that I'm proud of.

Assuming I would know what I know now, I would change the numbers on the last lottery ticket I bought.
