Yeah you heard me.
I was wondering if any of you clubbing vets had SHOE reccomendations.
Last year at the WMC, the biggest obstacle to my enjoyment of marathon show after show was my feet being in tons of pain.
The problem I've found is that all these "fashion sneakers" suck terribly when it comes to having cushioning and support. Conversely, all the athletic shoes that have lovely arch support and are super light wheight look rediculous and you feel like a complete goof wearing them into the club. I realize that at the WMC club shoe restrictions sorta go out the window and you can pretty much wear whatever you want at most places. I'd still like to find a happy medium though.
My ideal shoe: good arch support, lightwheight, looks good. I'm not sure if such a shoe exists!
I tried on a pair of Aisics today that were heavenly. Felt like I was walking on air. But of course, they looked silly as hell and I don't think I'd be caught wearing them anywhere outside of the gym. |

I have been wearing Puma's lately to FIVE, FUR, etc, and they are pretty comfortable. I've worn Diesel's, Steve Madden's, etc, and they are all ty shoes for dancing, and hurt after a while.
I looked at the shoe but cant find the style name, but they are gray suede pumas. |

| Yeah I was thinking about Pumas since they seem to be better made for comfort than those other brands, and then maybe sticking in an arch support insert. |

| pumas all day long! and some adidas old school shoes are pretty pimp too. the most comfortable shoes (that look good as well) have been adidas. if you go with a classic style look you can find some pretty pimp shoes. IMO at least |

| Any Nike Air sneaks work for me. Puma driving shoes are too hard on my feet. Not good for dancing all night long... |

| Nike Free in Black.... best shoes I've ever owned. Slick enough to get into clubs. |

yeah pumas that are anything like the driving shoes are HORRID for all night dancing. i have a pair that are similar, look good, but arch support sucks and not enough cushion.
i have a pair of saucony's that look GREAT with bootcut jeans that cover the shoe and they have good cushion and arch support.
these are the classic style by the way. like the old school reeboks. |

| What are these "driving shoes?" Maybe a pic so I could steer clear of them? |
