I had some gel inserts in all my shoes last year. They didn't really help much.
If the shoe itself has ty support and chushioning (or is too heavy), there's only so much an insert can do.

i find that skater shoes....such as Etnies have good support and cushioning...without being overly heavy

I agree.. I always rock the Etnies, Adio's, and even these cheap ass one's I can't remember the name of I bought at JC Penny' on sale. If you can find a style you like, the comfort is almost always there and I've never had foot problems after clubbing.

So that's pretty much a given then huh? about shoe rules going out the window for WMC? just want to make sure before I fly 3000 miles without any dress shoes.

Yeah, you don't have to worry about that anywhere except for maybe Cameo or Mansion, but I went to both last year wearing pretty casual shoes and nobody said anything.

That's surprising about skate shoes. I've never worn any, but they always seem so clonky and flat-footed.

some are clunky but of course not all. and yes they are all very comfortable.

and just by their nature they give good support and are made for very active people. 2 years of uprocking or 6 months of kickflips.. they last

if wmc is anything like summer in ibiza i'd just be wearing shorts / t-shirt every night with a nice pair of NIKE DUNKS (the SB's are my favorite)... they got colorways to match everything and anything and is my shoe of choice in any situation

If you were a girl then you would HAVE to wear the 3" and up heels and troop it out! :)

Hell no! I can't stand one hour in heels, let alone 10 hrs at Space. That's when chicks start takin off their shoes and their feet are black at the end of the night. Not so hott anymore...

Yes.. the wrong shoes can ruin the night.

I wore a pair of shoes that are usually comfortable.. only to end up with a huge blister on my foot.. shoes came off and things were better.. :)
