the goa influence came from djs who used used to fly down to goa and throw huge parties all over the beaches. thus, goa-trance was the major scene. it made its way to bombay and all over india, and that is the main reason why it was so popular for so long.

i'm in for this one FOR SURE

looking out for 'Rasa Lila' and '3rd time lucky' (with Astrix) he's sure to play them,
and his 'Cafe Del Mar' remix... massive!

Joof recordings, especially the Joof Deep sublabel still maintains an astonishing rate of originality, and though the psy ish element he wavers into later on in his sets is not totally what i'm into, his performance as a whole is something i definitely do not want to miss

sorry if this is stale news, but he had lung cancer a while back, and he 's fought it and i wish him the best of luck in everything he does (hopefully in person on the 7th:D )

he often starts up with some deep progtrance and goes on to some edgy full on trance. it never takes a cheesy turn. you won't hear many tunes with vocals in any of his sets.
so if you are a fan of some interesting trance which haven't been hammered to death expect one of the best club nights.

Great summary and a truly great DJ.

So can some of the "names" in the biz step up and support the scene in India please? We can't pay you what you earn in Europe... but we'll feed you the best curry you've tasted....
and yes, the crowds, small as they are... are completely mental!

hey man you're the guy from MTV India, rite?

He's one of the few trance Dj's around in recent years that really stood out in my mind as doing something great on a fairly consistant basis.
