| CD2 is pretty darn good. Almost a sequel to the second CD of Two Worlds. Searching for Satellite is amazing, as is 9am (not sure why its called that) and Shine On. I don't care for pretty much anything on CD1, Heather Nova's voice gets tiresome very early and by the end of the songs she's on, I'm thoroughly annoyed. The male vocals are pure cheese, and it seems like he puts much more effort melody-wise into both CD2's. |

i like the cd though i don't listen to chillout.cd 1 is pop, i don't like.i don't understand why he doesn't make a real trance album. |
He very rarely has. He has gotten more and more pop with each album, although he's largely (even with the instrumental numbers) has been pop, but his stuff on Movin' Melodies was "trancier" I guess. ATB, to me, (and i've argued this before on here) is not a trance-producer, and he's even said on interviews that he doesn't intend to really make trance music. The only track on the new album that resembles trance is "Beautiful Worlds". |

you don't find that his singles or remixes are trancier?
ATB-renegade (a&t mix)
mark norman-ventura ( atb remix)
a & b - can't sleep ( atb remix)
mr.sam- insight ( atb remix)
if it's not trance, what it is? |

Those are trancier than his other stuff on his albums, as obviously they are remixes of trance productions. But he even admits...that he likes to focus (esp now) on song-writing and composition than making tracks for the dance-floor exclusively. He admits to being "pop". In a sense, he's trying to be more of an "Artist" than a "Producer". And like Tiesto, ATB is pretty much a "brand" name when it comes to EDM. Kind of like the Burger King or Taco Bell to Tiesto's McDonalds haha. |

I really like CD1. CD2 is okay, although I'm not really one for the chillout kind of music.
The whole "50% electronic, 50% instrumental" concept is a bit odd, but I guess I'll get used to it. |

| "Trance is dead. Ferry Corsten killed it." Actually, he started the death of trance, but Tiesto finished it off. |
