i totally believe that the best relationships happen completely cooincidentally. if you're out there actively looking and really dedicating time to finding "the one," you have so many expectations and it's a lot easier to be let down... but if you're just casually meeting people, making friends and having a good time, it's a lot easier to befriend someone, decide if there's a mutual attraction, and see where it goes. not to mention - if you have a good friendship as a starting point to a relationship, i think the connection you'll have as partners will be way stronger. there's less pressure on both people and imo nothing is better than dating your best friend.
