yea but planning a date and taking someone out for a nice dinner and a hockey game or movie, shows that you are putting in effort to get to know them and want to show them a good time. but i see what you mean about it being like a "test".
i think i just started this thread because i didn't really enjoy my date last night and i already committed to a hockey game with him on saturday. maybe 2nd time will be better. |

| actually he hates sports and has never been to a hockey game. i'm the one with the tickets and invited him, so making football references at a hockey game would either A. make him like me more, or B. make no difference at all because he wouldn't even get it...lol |

I would imagine it is likely because origionally one had to actually place the ball on the ground in the endzone to score points... kind of like how it is in rugby. |
