K, it's 8:30 AM, and I've been up for about 49 hours now, so I'll post my review later....
But, I've put my pics online for all of you to see.. (Nothing fancy, but they're there.)
http://www.n4h.ca/~aaron/devotion-pics/thumbs.php
I had a blast, and met several TA's, whom are in some of the pics..
Have fun.. |

* It's been a pretty good party.
* Derb played some nice tracks, but I got tired of hard beats towards the end of his set.
* For an all-ages party there were surprisinly many good looking women(or should I say girls ?)
* Venue looked really cheap. Palase Royal which PH used to use before was much better. Floor was bouncing way too much and it was pretty humid.
* I doubt it was worth 30$ which I paid at the door, but I can't say I was disappointed. |

hahahaha! that's me requesting a song from DERB!

I absolutely agree with Durafei! It was expensive as hell, but I don't regret it all that much, after all I had some reall fun at this event! The venue looked a bit shady though, and yeah that damn floor BOUNCED like a mofo!
Derb turned out to be a really nice guy! I walked over and requested 3 songs. I requested:
Yoji Biomehanika - Ding A Ling (DJ Scot Project Remix)
Warmduscher - Hardcore Will Never Die (Derb Remix)
originally I wanted him to also play 'DJ Scot Project - Outerspace' which is like the newest whitelabel from DJ Scot. But he did not have it.
And I also requested this but he played a different remix which was just as good.
Reeloop - ing Society (Chromedioxide II Remix) but Derb played a new remix called (Yoji Ogura Remix) at least that's what I think it was, cause this track is being released on Tracid Traxx in Germany, with this additional remix.
Overall it was a very hard-trance set, something I have never really heard played live. It was very different and very cool. I got a little tired of the hard beats after a while. This party kind of reminded me of an old school Amsterdam HARDCORE parties! LOL!!:stongue:
So these here are just some of the tunes played by Derb last night!
Yoji Biomehanika - Ding A Ling (DJ Scot Project Remix)
Derb - In Africa
Derb - Derbus
Warmduscher - Hardcore Will Never Die (Derb Remix)
Dirt Devils - The Drill (Hens & Cold Remix)
Reeloop - ing Society (Yoji Ogura Remix)
Ferry Corsten - Punk (Cosmic Gate Remix)
Thanx TranceNerd for puting the pics up so quickly!

Finally got to meet trancearmada, trancenerd, infinityhigh, and Durafei (hahha couldn't hear your name for the first 5 times).
Derb threw down some amazing tracks......when Punk came on, I went nuts!!! But most of the ppl didn't even recognize the songs.......ravers.....they like too much hard trance.......wish there was more trance trance!!
Yeah, there were some nice girls all over the place!!
The decoration sucked......and it wasn't too crowded, not sure if that's good or bad.
It was really nice meeting all you guys finally and thanks for the pics trancenerd!!
Chris

Ahhh, well, it was fun, I can't deny that. Had a lot of fun partying with the TA's (hehe, if I didn't have my TA shirt on, we wouldn't have met at all most likely). A few nice girls, a bunch of candy ravers (I don't understand, those guys look 20, and still walk around with a pacifire).
Anyways, Derb was pretty damn good...dropped a lot of nice hard beats, but yeah, towards the end of the set I got tired of them. The best was when he dropped Ferry Corsten's Punk (are you sure it was the Cosmic Gate mix?) Me and Mav were going crazy to it, and most of the ravers around us were barely moving...hehehe.
I left around 4:10 (my back was killing me, stupid job...should go see a chiropractor). I couldn't find Mav when I was leaving, so unfortunately didn't say bye...
anyways, I gotta jet for Easter dinner. It was good, but not worth $30. And next time, install those flashing white lights, they create a really good effect/vibe ;)
And TranceArmada, you should've asked him to play Arome - Scream (DJ Scot Project mix) hehe, I love that song or Cosmic Gate - Back to Earth (Shokk mix). |

Don't forget to add the Lizard Vs Camisra mashup/synergy "Lizard without scales" .. Mmm.. did that ever get the floor shaking! Followed by Henne's & Cold - The second trip.
What an amazing party. I like the fact that it wasn't overly packed and the closing off of the front area was a good idea.
-Phil, carrie and crew -> Great job on the talent, decorating and everything else to make it a great party. I will be sure to be attending the next one!
-ACS You guys always come through!
-Security Finally, a company that does there job proper. Friendly, and quick at getting the line in.
-To the people i went with (Sarah, adrian, silent rob, and joel), thanks for the great night, hope to party with you guys again soon!
-Lyphe you know thats the i like, and you play it well!
