Deviant governements who want to be taken seriously at a global level don't have many alternatives than acquiring nukes.
If Iran, North Korea, or any other country was to fire a nuke at an enemy their own nation could be wiped off the map before their target gets blasted.
At least that is the theory .... I think nukes are getting rusty around the world and I wonder if they would fire when necessary.
Need to call up Bush and tell him to give some nukes a test drive around the planet

We do, just not our own. The US has nuke launch cites on Canadian soil... now since the Diefenbaker days the official line has been that only the launch systems are here and if needed the war heads would be flown from the US to the launch cites and mounted on the missles, however, only an idiot would believe such a thing as it would take longer to load the warheads on the plane then there would be time to respond to an ICBM attack.
BTW, we also have the launch controls... well the backup anyway. NORAD's backup command centre (the hole) is in North Bay ON. |

People need to stop writing AIDS as AIDs.
PS - Corporations aren't the only entities doing research into curing AIDS. Universities and governments all across the Americas and Europe have been doing research for decades on it. Iran has no cure. |
