Camera buying advice wanted (pg. 4)

I bought the Canon Powershot SD550 7MP camera at Costco over 1 yr ago. I've hardly used it but been playing with it lately. It's a pretty nice camera but I still need to learn all the little goodies it has. I'm still alittle wet behind the ears when it comes to digital cameras but hope to learn more.
Been thinking of giving my son my camera and getting me the Canon SD800. I'm also hoping Ben can give me some digital lessons after my purchase. :happy2: |

lol i still have to get used to it. a certain SOMEONE has my camera. ;) ill be getting it back on thurs. lol |

You lend your stuff out? Especially your camera? I don't like lending out certain things and here's a reason why... I let my son borrow my never used Canon 550 for his vacation in Aruba. My camera now has little scratches which I don't like! :whip:

i dont normally lend stuff like that out. although its never getting lent out again. |

no offense but why would someone buy that for that price. you can get an SD800IS AND a 4gb class 6 SDHC card for that. |

pretty much none. there are a select few but i dont know the model numbers. i want to try to hack mine so i can edit the sound profile. |
