Exactly. I've seen some idiots say things like "That's not trance, it's psy!" and "the stuff that was around in the early '90s wasn't really trance!"

that's more prevelant in hard house clubs over here, and afterparties
club time in the UK is most definately still E. Maybe not quite as many as people were taking at crasher back in the day, but it's still the main ingredient to any house/techno/trance night.

Crazy. Over here you don't generally find a huge percentage doing it unless it's an afterhours.

I dislike K and G at any point, but doing them in the club is ing ridiculous. Removes any appreciation for the music whatsoever.
"like a monkey with a miniature cymbal, the joy of repetition really is in you"
it's the way it's been for over 20 years, and it's the way it should ing stay

After all this is, or was, mainly a trance forum once upon a time and i would think of it as a sad thing to let the other genres take up more space than this forum was intended to be from the begining.

It's simply a matter of practically finding relevant info that can be interesting about trance. And i believe that making sections like that would help people. If you want trance, you look in the trance section.
If you want house, you look in the alternative section. At least that's how i work if i want to find relevant information.

Like now i only feel annoyed when things i really don't care about fills half of the screen.

So that's how i experience this.

I completely agree with you. ...while I don't feel there's anything wrong with discussing some other styles of music on a trance board, it starts getting to the point where "tranceaddict" is no longer a place to discuss trance music, but instead the craddle for scores of topics seething with "oh, house is the rage now I think I like it better".
