Try Auberge du Pommier, very good restaraunt, a little expensive though, like any other Oliver & Bonicini restaraunts. Jump is very good too, if you want something cheaper but still nice I'd recommend the actual Oliver & Bonicini Cafe & Grill on Bayview Village, very nice food at very reasoanle prices.
Otherwise my other choices would be:
Centro (has a very nice lounge downstairs)
Mimosa (right across Centro)
Courthouse
Flow (also very nice loungy place, might be going there myself actualy)
Octagon (if you want best steak, go to this place, a little north though)
Rosewater Supper Club (always a classic)
North 44 (but you might as well by a car instead!) |

Looking for recommendation for some 'exotic' cuisine in DT area.
Something like Persian or Afghan or whatever.
Just wanting to do some exploring :)
Cheers |

If you want to be adventurous, try Live, its a raw food restaurant ! I'm not sure if thats the kind of exploring you want to do, but its worth checking out. |

Good call, not that pricey and somewhere between Jack Astor's and Canoe.

Bang on, right in the same range as Alice Fazooli's

My additional recommendations:
Il Fornello (Italian) - Queens Quay location is my favorite, right at the harbourfront (summer is best, so you can walk on the newly built boardwalk area)

Marlowe - there used to be one downtown but I just checked the site and that location was sold so it's only in Richmond Hill; not such a glamorous area but I take business clients there all the time, great bang for buck.

Make sure you check all the websites for their menus to compare prices and call right away (i.e. tomorrow) once you've made your decision to make a reservation for a memorable night with your better half! ;)

It's on the 51st floor so the view is great and it has a romantic atmosphere. |
it's a great place, but def a bit too pricey for it's own good! plus it's worthless to go during winter, no panoramic view since it's so cold! |
