I'm really running into a wall with composing a bassline for my "Thumpie" remix - I'm wondering if any of you fellows have a preferred (versatile) bass VSTi that you enjoy using?
I'm running Mac OSX and Ableton Live 5.
Cheers. |

Check out the MOTU Mx4. It's a subtractive synth. way versitile. i love it. you can pretty much make any sound you want from scratch.

You'd be running it as an AU not a VSTi. same concept. |

most of the big synths will do the job, I use minimoog, Z3ta, vanguard and pro 53.
It's more to9 do with the midi;s you use and how you melt your bass into the kick. |
