i almost had a GTI instead of my subie. MKIV overall good condition but the clear coat was showing that it was a desert car. it had a cigarette burn in one of the seats and had some nasty paint chips on the rear bumper. they wanted 17k and 4k down. they were out of their minds. |

edit // That's the factory body kit I wanted! I couldn't find a white GTI with the body kit anywhere in California :( |

perfect GTI = 2004 MKIV GTI chassis, VW w8 engine, 6spd manual, stiesque awd, and a nice coilover setup. :)
ps: thats my project i hope to start in a couple years. by then the w8 will be easily sourced for cheap....well relatively cheap. |

| I had a 2004 R32. I loved it but the check engine light was on every other week. The dealer would just reset it and told me to live it. I sold the car after just 18k miles on it. The guy who bought gave me what I had paid for but I glad to get out of it. :eek: |
