The new Mitsu Lancer is the based off the EVO10 concept (not the EVO8).
The car should launch in Canada in late-March/early-April with deliveries in the 2nd half of the year. |

I love the headlights, and how it looks from the front, but that grey cutaway under the grille is BUTT-UGLY. WTF? Should have made it body color and continued the bumper all around instead of cutting it through like that. Looks like they tried to rip off Audi's front end:

And did a horrible job of it in the process.

Why does it look so high off the ground? SUV-styles.
I can't decide if they stole the rear lights,

off of the Lexus IS350:

or the Alfa 156:

Not digging the seat color-scheme.

WTF? It's an AUTO? Also, I'm guessing that's the boost gauge up there in the middle?

Ugly. Period. |
i love your reply.
you > mitsu and their copyright infringement LOL |

My favourite was the EVO VI RS lightweight.
I just prefer the styling. More raw & badass I think.
There are at least 4 EVO's licensed and driven on the street (though not often) in Canada. 2 in Quebec, 1 Georgetown, and 1 Kitchener.
They are all caged rally cars, but they still need to be plated & insured since the transit stages on a pro-rally are on open public road.
You can get them into the country, but have to import them yourself and fight through a fair amount of red tape. The first two that were here ran with Belgian plates for over a year under their new Quebec owners (it was a Belgian team that came over for one rally back in 2000 and sold two of them when they were here). |

Anyway, I prefer the new Subie Impreza hatch to the Evo X.

Same here. Always loved the Impreza hatchback. |
